The Pasadena ASID Chapter is the proud sponsor of the ASID Student Chapter at FIDM – The Fashion Institute of Design Merchandising – in Downtown Los Angeles.
Working with FIDM students, the professional members of Pasadena ASID have created programs and events to encourage collaboration and foster education. These events include:
Career Day: Students and Professionals meet for a day of seminars, lectures, and portfolio review.
Home & Kitchen Tour: This annual event is the Pasadena ASID’s largest fundraiser. There are a number of opportunities to work with the designers showcased on the tour.
Quarterly Mixers: Once a quarter an Industry Partner hosts a get together. All members and students are encouraged to participate.
Real World Design Week: A student shadows a professional for a day or a week to see what is really involved in the practice of interior design.
Quarterly Student Gathering: ASID members host a lunch and learn.
